My Final Thoughts

There have been numerous scientific studies and many published papers that give support to the Paleo diet. It has been scrutinized intensely, perhaps more so than any other diet, and many thousands of people can testify to the healthy benefits of following a Paleo lifestyle.

A diet low in carbohydrates and rich in good natural fats and protein is a proven healthy way to shed unwanted pounds of excess body fat, without having to count and restrict the number of calories you consume in every meal you eat each day.

Some fashionable diets will start you on specially formulated 'bland tasting' shakes and soups etc. and restrict your calorie intake to an almost starvation level to force your body to process your stores of fat.

Asides from the health risks associated with extreme low calorie diets, you really have to ask yourself... Is this a natural and healthy way to lose weight and to STAY slim?.. to practically starve yourself and always feeling hungry?

Despite popular belief, the Paleo lifestyle is not as restrictive as some people would want you to believe. Actually, it will introduce your taste buds to a whole new world of culinary experiences, foods that you will enjoy eating, foods that will satisfy your hunger.

One Intriguing Question That No-One Can Answer?

Don't misunderstand me here, there is ample evidence to prove that the paleo diet works! I am not questioning that... but the problem I do have with paleo style diets, and practically every other diet for that matter is this...

Why is it that there are some people who never put on weight no matter what they eat? They can eat any fattening processed foods and sweet desserts full of refined sugars, infact they can eat all the paleo 'bad foods'and yet they don't put on an ounce of weight - how do you explain that?

Why is it that some people can eat anything they want, as much as they want and not have to worry about gaining weight. And before you even think-it, it has nothing to do with genetics.

It was a puzzle that just didn't make any sense to me at all, no diet book that I've read even came close to answering this - not until recently when I was introduced to a completely new way of thinking about diets and weight loss.

Much less restrictive than the Paleo diet... infact it's NOT a diet and it does NOT involve any grueling exercises, and yet the weight loss results achieved by those who followed this program are spectacular - Watch this video here.
