How to Use EFT For Headaches and Migraines (part 2)

I want you to start tapping on the side of your hand which is the karate chop, you can start tapping on either side it doesn't matter which one. So go ahead and follow along, and I want you to say...

Karate Chop: Even though I have this headache
I love and accept myself
Even though I have so much pain in my head
I accept myself and I'm open to letting it go
Even though I can really feel it
It is throbbing on the left side of my head
I love and accept myself
And I'm ready to just let it go
Top of the Head: This horrible headache
Eyebrow: This headache
Side of the Eye: This throbbing pain on the left side of my head
Under the Eye: I can't even think straight
Under the Nose: All this pressure in my head
Chin: It really hurts
Collarbone: I'm really suffering here
Under the Arm: All this pain

Top of the Head: I'm open to letting it go
Eyebrow: I'm releasing all the pressure in my head
Side of the Eye: I can feel all the muscles in my body relaxing
Under the Eye: My neck is loosening up
Under the Nose: The pressure in my head is releasing and I'm feeling calmer
Chin: I feel calmer knowing that my body is listening to me
Collarbone: That my body is responding
Under the Arm: Knowing that I'm taking the time to listen to me
My whole body is relaxing
I'm letting go
Just let it go
Wrists: I feel calm and relaxed
As I let go once and for all

I want you to take a big deep breath in... and out.

Just move your head around a little bit, gently, see how it feels. Is the pain gone or is there some remaining pain there? If you're at a 2 or above then you might want to keep on tapping. Notice what happened with the pain, did the pain move or did it change at all?

Notice if any thoughts or feelings came up for you. If yes, you want to add it to the tapping sequence in a way that applies to you specifically. You want to really notice what it feels like now, and we're going to go through and tap through it one more time.

So tap again on the side of your hand on either side and I want you to say...

Karate Chop: Even though I have this remaining pain in my head
This remaining headache
I love and accept myself
Even though there is so much pressure in my head
I accept where I'm at and I'm open to letting go
Even though sometimes it's hard to love and accept myself
When I'm in so much pain
I'm open to letting go
Allowing my whole body to relax
Specially my head
Top of the Head: This remaining pain in my head
Eyebrow: All this pressure in my head
Side of the Eye: I can't seem to let it go
Under the Eye: Wonder what this pain is trying to tell me
Under the Nose: So much pressure in my head
Chin: Just like the pressure in my life right now
Collarbone: It's too much pressure to get things done
Under the Arm: Too much pressure to please the people around me

Top of the Head: I always put too much pressure on myself
Eyebrow: Or I feel like others are putting this pressure on me
Side of the Eye: My family or my friends
Under the Eye: A Spouse
I love and accept myself
Under the Nose: I'm open to letting it all go
Chin: I'm releasing the pressure
Collarbone: Forgiving myself for all the pressure I succumb to
Under the Arm: For all the pressure I put on myself on a very regular basis

Top of the Head: Right now this is about me
And I'm letting go
Eyebrow: Just for now
Side of the Eye: It's ok to just let go and relax
Under the Eye: Allowing my whole body to relax
Under the Nose: Letting go of the everyday pressures
Chin: My neck is relaxing
My head is relaxing
Collarbone: All is well right now
And even if it isn't I know that it will be OK
Under the Arm: Let it go
I'm just letting go
Wrists: Let it all go
My head feels light
Free and clear as I release it

Take a big deep breath in... and out.

Now how does it feel? Hopefully it has decreased significantly, if not keep on tapping it down. Address all emotions that are coming up for you. Address any events which might have caused stress recently, which might also contribute to the pain.

As you start to listen to the pain this will become easier for you, just release it and let it go. The pain is not who you are, it's just a symptom, it's just the way your body is speaking to you and you can let it go. Have faith and confidence, release it, let it go... and keep on tapping.
